Fighting against the weeds

All of a sudden the weeds in our allotment have started to go crazy! When we came back from our little trip to Belfast they had almost taken over the plot. I thought I would be safe attacking them with a pitchfork …
.. but now .. one destroyed back later .. the plot is almost in order again. We’ve started planting out all our summer stuff like tomatoes and eggplants but the English climate is pretty harsh so I’ve made a little shelter for them.
