Dragnetting
January 16, 2008
This morning in Darwin we got up early to do a quick morning fishing trip. The sea was still a bit choppy after the cyclone and there was lots of crap in the water … but the fish were out in abundance. We caught a stack of barra (though just undersize so we put em back) … and had two huge salmon hit the net but they broke through the holes. In the end we took home one little salmon for a brunch taster … it was delicious cooked up on the barbeque.
Heading out for the first drag
