Baking Frenzy
It’s been a crazy weekend of non-stop baking this weekend. I got a bit of a crazy desire to bake, sparked mostly by the gift of an amazing book “The cook’s book” from the weekly times. Anyway … we kicked off with scones on Saturday morning .. followed by home made pasta that evening .. then on sunday morning we had the croissants I prepared on saturday

Then came the big effort … the beef wellingtons. It started with the chive pancakes

These are to wrap the beef in
Then the home-made puff pastry ..

Stage 1 of about 5 layering steps

And then putting it together

Wrapping the eye fillet in the pancakes .. then they went in the fridge for an hour or so before wrapping with the puff pastry
Finally the finished product …
